I've created Art of ELT because I want to bring some clarity and ease to tired and confused language teachers everywhere.
Whatever you're going through, I've probably been there:
I've taught in over 10 countries; worked for language schools and in public schools (primary, high schools, and universities), any level you can imagine, individuals and groups, general and business English, exams (I specialized in Exams for my DELTA), I've developed materials, courses and assessments... I'm getting tired just listing it all.
And that's what my courses are all about: helping language teachers understand how learning happens so they are more effective and less unbalanced and unsure in the classroom. I want to introduce classroom management practices that work and don't take much time to organize and plan for. And I am passionate about helping language teachers remember that they are people first and foremost and that burnout and personal misery aren't necessary and can be avoided.
